WA HA HA HA HA
On Sunday morning we went hiking with some friends in the Santa Cruz mountains. We hiked from Skyline down to Purisma Creek and back up again, 1000 feet of elevation over 3 miles. It's been months since we did a serious hike, and with Sam just getting over three weeks of sinus infection we were pretty wiped out by it.
Rob took some pictures...

A Lomo for my Birthday
Sam kindly bought me a Lomo camera for my birthday. It's a Russian compact manual camera with a fixed lens. Very simple, but with practice they produce nice pictures. With cheap slow film you can get some really vibrant splashes of colour, especially if there's some motion in the scene. The four pictures below are from my first roll. Not great, but I used a 200-ASA film, and I now find that most people are using 100-ASA.
