A Lomo for my Birthday
Sam kindly bought me a Lomo camera for my birthday. It's a Russian compact manual camera with a fixed lens. Very simple, but with practice they produce nice pictures. With cheap slow film you can get some really vibrant splashes of colour, especially if there's some motion in the scene. The four pictures below are from my first roll. Not great, but I used a 200-ASA film, and I now find that most people are using 100-ASA.
