We also rented a DVD of The Deer Hunter last weekend. Totally brilliant - can't believe that I've never seen it before.
Just finished reading Tony Parson's Man and Boy. What an excellent book. Quite similar to some of Nick Hornby's work.
Thankfully Albert will be leaving us soon, Feb 16th at 2pm to be exact.
We're looking forward to the re-visitation of John's brother, Simon, also affectionatly known as 'Our Sid'. He arrives on Feb 18th for a two week stay, which will include his birthday on the 26th. He has a top night out planned with the Country Teasers who are playing at the Bottom of the Hill.
